Campus Dining To Offer Two Free Cooking Classes Per Semester
Campus Dining is increasing the number of free cooking classes it offers students. Chefs Chris Vizzina and David Sparks will now lead two classes per semester, with six students per class, in Samford’s Rotunda Club kitchen. In the hands-on class students learn how to prepare a quick appetizer, entrée, and dessert.
Class participants are chosen by drawing from names collected early in each semester. The winners get great food, new skills and a break from routine. They also get a glimpse of life on the other side of the buffet line. “This has been a great way for Campus Dining to connect with the students,” said Rotunda Club manager Trey Carmon.
