Samford Opera Scenes To Feature Bernstein, Menotti April 13-14
Samford's 2012 Opera Scenes production will feature Leonard Bernstein's "Trouble in Tahiti" and "The Telephone," by Gian Carlo Menotti.
The joint production of Samford's Music and Theatre and Dance divisions will include performances by Christopher Barbee, Abi Benke, Russell Blackburn, Candace Collins, Leah Doss, Cole Forehand, Bethany Orick, Diana L. Preoteasa, Amberlyn Richardson and Byron Martin Turk.
The performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. April 13-14 in Samford's Bolding Studio, Swearingen Hall. Tickets are $12 (adult,) $9 (55+,) and $6 (student/child). Information and tickets at arts.samford.edu or 205-726-2853.
