Office of Communication Wins National Recognition
Samford’s Office of Communication has won eight national awards in the prestigious DeRose-Hinkhouse Memorial Awards competition. The awards are presented each year by the Religion Communicators Council (RCC), an interfaith association of more than 600 religion communicators working in print and electronic communication, marketing and public relations.
Entries for the 2009 awards (for work completed in 2008) were judged by faculty of Eastern Illinois University. The judges honored Samford projects submitted in several award classes, and chose two as Best of Class.
