School of the Arts Dean Hopkins To Join Guitarist Patilla for Feb. 23 Recital
Baritone Joseph Hopkins, Dean of Samford's School of the Arts, will join guitarist Michael Patilla for a recital Feb. 23.
The recital, sponsored by Patty McDonald, will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Samford's Brock Recital Hall. It will be free-of-charge and open to the public.
The Samford recital is one of several stops in the U.S. and Europe for Hopkins and Patilla. In each, they will perform works by Juan de Anchieta, Agustin Barrios, John Dowland, Stephen Foster, Eduardo Martin, Scott Robbins, Fernando Sor and Francisco de la Torre.
