Graphic Design Students Win Multiple ADDY Awards, Scholarships
Samford graphic design students were honored with multiple awards and scholarships at the Birmingham Advertising Federation ADDY awards Feb. 6.
Sharon Duckworth won Student Best of Show and was awarded $2,000 for her design of the Samford Interior Design Website.
Malynda Mesler won a Gold Addy in the Motion Graphics category for her film title sequence for “Watching”, a film made by Samford Theater and Journalism students. Mesler also won a Silver Addy in the web design category and $750.
Reese Armstrong won a Gold Addy and $500 in the Poster category.
Joshua Metts won a Silver Addy and $250 in the Book category.
Chelsea Hoffman won a silver addy and $250 in the web design category.
