Samford to Host February Receptions in Eight Locations Around Nation
Samford University will host eight Samford Yield receptions for alumni, parents and prospective students and their families during February. The events are sponsored by the Samford Advancement and Admission offices to share information with students who are considering attending Samford and their parents. Samford alumni and parents also are invited to help provide information on their Samford experience.
February events are as follows:
Feb. 1, Memphis, Tenn., Embassy Suites Memphis, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Feb. 7, Montgomery, Ala., Renaissance, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Feb. 8, Atlanta, Ga., Atlanta Country Club, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Feb. 16, Birmingham, Ala., Pete Hanna Center, Samford campus, 5:30-7 p.m. prior to Samford-Wofford basketball game
Feb. 17, Knoxville, Tenn., Crowne Plaza, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Feb. 18, Chattanooga, Tenn., Chattanooga Marriott, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Feb. 21, Louisville, Ky., The Seelbach Hilton, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Feb. 25, Phoenix, Ariz., location to be announced, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Invitations are mailed to alumni, parents and prospective students’ families. Alumni and parents may make reservations by responding to sualumni@samford.edu. Prospective students may make reservations by responding to sbturner@samford.edu.
David Goodwin, Samford’s director of alumni and parents programs, and Jason Black, dean of admission, coordinate the events. Additional events are scheduled in other locations later this spring.
