SBN to Hold Quarterly Meeting
Pam Siddall, president and publisher of the Birmingham News, will speak to the Samford Business Network Quarterly Meeting and Breakfast group on Feb. 9 at 7 a.m. at The Harbert Center, downtown Birmingham. She was named president and publisher of The Birmingham News in January 2010, after serving as president and publisher of the Wichita Eagle. Prior to being named president and publisher in Wichita, she was president and publisher of the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer. Before becoming president of three newspapers, she served as CFO of The Columbus Ledger-Enquirer and CFO and controller of the Russell Corporation's Licensed Products Division.

Siddall has an extensive community service background. While in Wichita, she was involved in the Knight Foundation, Wichita Economic Development Coalition Steering Council, Wichita Community Foundation and the Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce. In Birmingham, she has joined PARCA (Public Affairs Research Council of Alabama) and is participating in the current class of Leadership Birmingham. She also is involved with the Birmingham Business Alliance, Samford University's Brock School of Business and the United Way of Central Alabama.
