Samford's Alumni Association, along with David Goodwin, director of Alumni and Parent Programs, will be coming to a city near you.

Starting in January and going through June, Samford has stops nationwide with the Bulldog family. "Our receptions and dinners are really geared toward an alum to connect to another alum in their city," Goodwin said.

President Andrew Westmoreland attended a recent alumni event in Atlanta, Ga. There were more than 100 members of the Samford family in attendance, all taking a drive down memory lane. "It doesn't take much to get that spark into a raging fire when talking about all that loyalty," Westmoreland said. "They (alumni) want to help us with student recruitment, help us with fundraising, they want to help with 'friend-raising.'"
