Alumni Events Planned in Tennessee and Georgia
The Samford University Alumni Association will hold four regional events in February. The dinner events will take place in Roswell, Ga., Atlanta, Ga., Huntsville, Ala., and Nashville, Tenn.
David Goodwin, director of alumni programs, said the events offer the opportunity for alumni to stay connected with the university.
"We do these all over the country, something like 25 for this year, because we want to keep our friends aware of the great things happening at Samford," Goodwin said.
The events will include dinner and an update from the university.
Each of the events begins at 6 p.m. local time. Cost for each event is $10. Advance reservations are required for each event.
The North Atlanta event will be held in Roswell, Ga. on Monday, Feb. 4 at Sugo.
The Atlanta area event will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 5 at the Atlanta Country Club.
The Huntsville event will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 19 at The Westin Huntsville.
The Nashville event will be held on Thursday, Feb. 21 at Maggiano's Little Italy.
