Hundreds of Middle, High School Students To Attend Honor Band Program This Weekend
Hundreds of middle school and high school music students from throughout the region will participate in the Fifth Annual Samford University Honor Band program Jan. 6-8.
Approximately 600 students from Alabama, North Carolina, Tennessee and Florida were selected to attend the intensive three-day program of auditions, rehearsals, masterclasses and performances.
The Honor Band program will conclude with a concert in Samford's Wright Center Concert Hall at 2:30 p.m. Saturday Jan. 8.
The concert is free of charge and open to the public.
