Trio Voronezh
October 26, 7:30 p.m.
Trio Voronezh’s astonishing virtuosity and delightful artistic innovation gives the trio the ability to alter the way audiences experience classical, folk and contemporary repertoire. Discovered playing Bach in a Frankfurt, Germany subway station, Trio Voronezh has since made several tours of the U.S., and earned audience and critical praise. Don Heckman of the Los Angeles Times beautifully sums up a performance: “The traditional pieces soon brought the crowd to life, clapping enthusiastically as the rhythms accelerated and Volokhin's fingers flew across his domra. Petrukhin, his body moving in sync with his deep bass notes, and Teleshev, magisterially pulling everything together within the lush sounds of his bajan, completed the picture -- three players, alone on a large open stage, filling every crevice with their rich, imaginatively conceived music."

Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead
by Tom Stoppard
September 30 - October 3
Hailed as a modern dramatic masterpiece, "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead" is the fabulously inventive tale of "Hamlet" as told from the worm's-eye view of the bewildered Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, two minor characters in Shakespeare's play. In Tom Stoppard's best-known work, this Shakespearean Laurel and Hardy finally get a chance to take the lead role, but do so in a world where echoes of "Waiting for Godot" resound, where reality and illusion intermix, and where fate leads our two heroes to a tragic but inevitable end.
The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
Music and lyrics by William Finn, book by Rachel Sheinkin
November 18 - 21
"Spelling Bee" centers around a fictional spelling bee set in the perfectly middle-American Putnam Valley Middle School. Six adolescents compete in the Bee, run by three hilariously sincere grown-ups. This Tony Award-winning show will be directed by guest artist Dane Peterson. PG - 13
The Odd Couple
by Neil Simon
February 21 - 27 (Male and female versions on alternating days)
Take one successful sports writer and his best friend, a group of poker buddies and a wife who throws her husband out and the result is one of America’s most treasured works for the stage. This play is a study in friendship for the ages.
The Odd Couple (Female version) Unger and Madison are at it again! Florence Unger and Olive Madison, that is, in the female version of The Odd Couple. Instead of the poker party that begins the original version, Ms. Madison has invited the girls over for an evening of Trivial Pursuit. The Pidgeon sisters have been replaced by the two Constanzuela brothers. But the hilarity remains the same. PG-13

No Way to Treat a Lady
Book, music and lyrics by Douglas J. Cohen
April 28 - May 1
Based on the novel by William Goldman. This theatrically charged musical comedy thriller about a publicity crazed actor turned killer and the endearing detective who pursues him is based on the best selling novel that became a renowned movie. It is a devilish blend of humor, romance and murder. Strangely enough you will feel thrills, chills and a need to dance!
