Once Upon a Time

July 26 - 30 , 9:00 am to 2:00 pm

for rising Grades 1 through 6

July 26 - 30, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm

for rising K-4 and K-5

The week will be spent learning lines for a play as well as painting a scenic backdrop, gathering costumes and makeup designs for the various characters, and practicing onstage. Special classes include art, stage combat, creative movement, and outdoor games.  The week will culminate in a performance Friday onstage in the Harrison Theatre.  Students receive a camp t-shirt, makeup pencils, bottled water, and a snack.  Grades 1 - 6 need to bring a lunch.

Theatre Arts Intensive

June 28 - July 2, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

for rising Grades 7 - 12

$280

Students delve deeper into the dramatic arts in this intensive.  They will work on a variety of theatre arts, including monologues, acting styles, audition skills, makeup, scenic, and costume design, and produce more sophisticated plays for the end of week performance. We also offer a musical theatre track, which will be placed by audition on the first day of the camp.  Students receive a camp t-shirt, makeup kit, bottled water and a snack.  Students should bring a lunch or money to purchase items from the food court.

Classes for both sessions are limited to 12 students per two teachers.  Teachers are current students or alumni of Samford and Samford faculty.
