The best part of my job is that I get the opportunity to advocate Samford from the perspective of a graduate as well as an employee.  I graduated from SU in 2009 with not only a degree in International Relations, but also a myriad of friendships, a stronger faith, a respected resume, and countless life lessons. As a freshman at Samford you are literally and figuratively in the center of everything that happens on our campus. The freshman dorms are right in the middle of campus and it takes little time at all to become involved with the numerous events put on by the over 120 organizations on campus.  Before you know it, you are surrounded by a community you love.  The transition from life in central Indiana to life in Birmingham was a success, because of how quickly Samford became “home” to me.
